So I’m Dan.  I’m a sysadmin for an electric company in the american midwest.  I’ve been into home automation since around November of 2016 and spent more money than I care to admit.  I’m also a mod for the Home Automation subreddit and you will also typically find me hanging out in the associated Discord as well.

Outside of playing with technology at home, I also enjoy photography, video games, automotive work, programming, and a little bit of web design.  I’ve also recently gotten into UAV flying and am trying to break into that commercially.
